  • Been with this church for several years now. Absolutely love to people and the balance in the worship service with both traditional and contemporary.

  • On June 1, 2007 First Congregational Church marked its 120th anniversary! It was the first church in what was then known as South Riverside.
This historic church, founded in 1887, is complete with beautiful stained-glass windows and an amazing pipe organ. It definitely deserves a visit whether you are just visiting the area or live there.   Their thinking is up-to-date and they are very welcoming and warm.  They worship at 10:00. a.m. on Sundays and provide nursery care and Sunday School for children.  They have a live choir, the Chancel Choir; a bell choir, that plays the first Sunday of every month and special holiday occasions; and their pipe organ, almost 100 years old itself, sounds magnificent. You'll be inspired as you hear God speaking to you through the Bible.
So if you in the area or just happen to live their give them a visit it will be a Sunday mornig well spent.
